Berlin’s vegan scene is thriving, but for some reason every weekend we’re left wondering the same thing, “Where should I get vegan brunch today?”
I’d like to direct your attention to Berlin’s Kreuzberg Neighborhood, where you can find some of the coziest, coolest and tastiest vegan brunch offerings in Berlin.
Not willing to go to Kreuzberg for Vegan Brunch? Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered with the Five Best Vegan Brunch Spots in Prenzlauer Berg and also in Neukölln
No Milk Today
Don’t even bother reading the rest of this list if you haven’t tried No Milk Today’s Vegan Breakfast yet. This place is a staple in the Berlin brunch scene— even your non-vegan friends will be happy with this plant-based eatery.
Do yourself a favor and order one of their incredible cinnamon rolls for the table, you won’t be sorry. Their “egg” salad is delicious and the “salmon” breakfast is a fan favorite (I prefer the quiche). On a hot day, I’ll always go for the smoothie bowl.
Cafe Nullpunkt
When I read the review, “Best vegan croissant in probably the world” I knew that I would have to try this place out for myself and I definitely wasn’t disappointed. The croissant was perfect— would give a “normal” croissant a run for its money for sure.
This 100% plant-based cafe has a small but impressive menu, they have a vegan Ceaser salad that is delicious and a “vEGG” and Roasted Veggie sandwich, and in the colder months, their soup of the day always hits the spot.
Viasko
Who doesn’t love a brunch buffet?
Viasko does a purely vegan/vegetarian brunch buffet every weekend for $15. You’ll want to reserve in advance because this place is always jamming. The restaurant itself isn’t the chic-Berliner style, but don’t be fooled it’s one of the best places for vegan breakfast in Berlin.

Kiez Vegan
Maybe it’s because I lived in Istanbul for a bit, but any place that serves vegan menemen is ok in my book. This cozy little cafe is just off lively urbanstraße, on a quant road that’s great for people watching. It’s a no-frills type of place that’s great to settle in and enjoy brunch with some friends.
The vegan breakfast platter is a nice and big so if you’re super hungry, go for that! They also serve an array of lunch foods for those of you who prefer the “unch” side of “brunch”
Two Trick Pony
This isn’t a 100% vegan restaurant, but their vegan options are DIVINE and go way past the usual avo-toast. Making this the absolute best place to go for brunch when you’re in a group that is not all veggieheads.
Their Masala Chickpea and spinach toastie is mouth-watering, you’ll want to order another and another. They also do a vegan version of their Tomato Tonnato with chickpeas, miso, and wakame that I dream about. Plus the place is aesthetic and the service is always friendly— the crowds come in mass so be prepared to wait a bit for a table.
Hallesches Haus
Half concept store, half cafe Hallesches Haus is the epitome of berlin cool the menu is small, and not entirely vegan, but it always has at least one option on their menu that’s vegan. Whatever you end up getting, make sure to order a side of their jalapeno spicy sauce, it’s incredible.
If you’re interested in browsing the general store, make sure you opt for a Saturday brunch, because on Sunday it’s closed (like all stores in Germany)
